Northampton/Hadley Family Connection

About Us

NHFC is a CFCE funded by the Massachusetts EEC.*  NHFC (Northampton/Hadley Family Connection) brings local families with young children together in playgroups, events, workshops, and groups to play, to learn, to experience, and to support. We are funded by a CFCE grant from the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.

Located in the Northampton Public Schools' Early Childhood Center at Jackson Street School, we reach out during the school year with varied opportunities to join families and communities together.  In the summer, we hold weekly summer playgroups. Our vision is to make it easier for every family to be part of learning and growing our community’s children healthfully, with other families and our community.

Northampton has been awarded the CFCE/CPC grant from the MA EEC for over three decades.

*The Northampton/Hadley Family Connection (also known as the Northampton/Hadley CFCE), is sponsored through a CFCE grant from the MA Department of Early Education and Care, and given support by the Northampton Public School district.  CFCE stands for Coordinated Family and Community Engagement.
