Northampton Public Preschool
The NPS Preschool follows the Northampton Public School calendar.
Basic information about the Northampton Public Schools Preschool:
- For 3- and 4-year old children who live in Northampton, Florence, and Leeds
- Monday-Thursday (no preschool on Fridays)
- Half-day preschool program with 2 sessions (8:10-10:40 am or 11:30-2:00 pm): 2.5 hours/day
- Limited 4-day full school day spaces for 4-year old children, chosen by lottery: 6 hours/day
- Two locations:
- Bridge Street School (for children who would attend BSS or JSS)
- Leeds Elementary School (for children who would attend Leeds or RR)

The NPS Public Preschool program integrates children who are typically developing with those with special needs. This Northampton integrated preschool setting allows all children to participate to their fullest capacities in the mainstream of education. Special support services are provided as needed.
